Perfect for Our Family

Villa Beachcliff was perfect for a weeklong stay by three generations of our family, including three infants under two. Rick was a great host, never intrusive but always available. The kids (and adults, too) enjoyed the pools. The numerous seating areas offer choices for gathering as a group or a place of escape if you needed some downtime. Chef Kim served dinner two evenings-excellent food at reasonable prices. For lunches and beach time, we enjoyed the nearby Sand Bar Restaurant and the University Club. The only downside was the need to return to a frigid New England winter. We highly recommend the Villa for your group or family.

Spacious Grenada Villa Perfect for a Group Trip

Our group of four couples had a wonderful stay at this beach villa in Grenada. Rick was an exceptional host and incredibly helpful from start to finish. He assisted us with planning our weekly itinerary, including transportation, a catamaran excursion, provisioning, visits to waterfalls, arranging an on-site chef, and recommending beaches and restaurants. His local knowledge made planning easy and stress-free. The villa itself is very nice with beautiful views and plenty of space for a larger group. Each bedroom was spacious and comfortable with good air conditioning. The pool area was great for relaxing, though the water was a bit cold during our stay. Hot water and water pressure were slightly on the low side, but nothing that caused major issues. Overall, this is a great option for travelers who like to plan their own activities while enjoying a well-located, comfortable villa. I would certainly recommend this villa and Rick as a host.

Amazing Place with an Amazing Host

We stayed at Villa Beachcliff for 9-days and had an absolutely incredible time. We booked the villa earlier in the year looking for a “no holds barred” kind of vacation with mom as she was recently diagnosed with early-stage Alzheimer’s so want to do as many amazing things with her while we can. The villa and Rick helped us meet that goal and more. There were 9 of us total, 5 adults and 4 kids, ranging in age from 16 to 7. The villa was perfect for us. As noted in other reviews, there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, especially the older teenagers who unexpectedly even got their own room. The younger kids could also run around on their own without us having to worry about them…same deal for mom with her cognitive issues. We loved everything about the villa. There were so many different places to sit and enjoy different spectacular views. It was neat to have the Atlantic on one side and Caribbean on the others. There was always a great breeze coming off the Atlantic side to keep things cool. Our favorite thing to do while we were in Grenada was watching the evening sunsets from the upper deck balcony. Whatever we were doing during the day, we always made sure to get back each evening for the sunset. Simply amazing. We always felt safe there, as was the case in all of Grenada. The villa is located near the end of a street so traffic was minimal. We walked to dinner down the street a few evenings without issue. It was an easy 10 minute shot to get into town by car for groceries, the beach, anything. We went to the center of the island one day to see waterfalls, beach a few days and sailing on day. There were a few other things we intended to do and wanted to more of the north side of Grenada BUT the villa was so nice it was hard to sacrifice the time away. While the villa was a huge part of this amazing trip, so was our host Rick. He was an amazing host from the beginning when we booked this, 8 months before arrival, always VERY quick to respond and always helpful with concierge-like service. Not only did he give ideas and suggestions, but he would make bookings for us. Rick set up a chef (Chef Kim was amazing!) for us for several meals, reserved the rental cars with airport transfer and booked a sailing/snorkeling trip for us. There were a few maintenance issues, which is to be expected for a house of this size surrounded by saltwater, but Rick was onsite within 10 minutes and took care of them. Planning a trip for 9 people of all ages is not the easiest task and requires a lot of planning and logistical work, but Rick made all that so much easier and I am very grateful for all his help to make this trip such a success. I will without a doubt return to Villa Beachcliff the next time we are in Grenada. This was a very special trip for so many reasons.

Wonderful family get away!

We just got home from Villa Beachcliff and want to go back. One week was not enough time. Everyone agreed it was our vacation that passed by the quickest. There are so many wonderful things to do in Grenada. The people, everywhere we went, were kind and helpful. During the planning process Rick was very quick to respond and answer questions. This prompt response was also seen when questions or problems arose as we were on the island. Rick arranged pick up and drop off at the airport as well as a car rental for us on island and it worked seamlessly. We had an incident where we were without power. While not fun, Rick came over immediately to get things taken care of. He took our frozen items to his house, bought ice for the refrigerator and supplied us with candles. It was an adventure that we can all laugh about now, family bonding time! The house was very clean when we arrived and it was a treat to have it also cleaned midweek. The location can’t be beat! The views are extraordinary. There are other beaches within a few minutes drive if you’re looking for some white sand. We were able to go out and paddleboard and swim right off the back of the property. Book your trip today!

Spicemas stay

The whole absolutely loved the villa. No need to mention how beautiful it was. It was also peaceful and perfectly located (especially for Spicemas). Very well equipped. We appreciated the cleaning service during the stay.

Authentic Unique Home,Great for Groups with Kids

This was our third time staying at Villa Beach Cliff, and it will not be our last. We keep coming back because this house truly has a unique Caribbean charm that sets it apart—and it offers everything our travel group needs for the perfect vacation. We visited with three couples, each with two young children under the age of five, and Villa Beach Cliff was ideal for all of us. The ensuite bedrooms gave each family the privacy and comfort they needed, while the home’s design made it easy for us to gather, relax, and enjoy time together. The layout is incredibly well thought-out, with multiple indoor and outdoor common areas that flow seamlessly into each other. The multi-leveled covered porches and spacious outdoor patios make the home feel like one expansive, breezy family room. The house is situated to catch the constant ocean breeze, and the high sloped ceilings give the interior a cool, open feel. The views of the sunset and sunrise are incredible. We enjoyed mornings watching the sunrise and eating breakfast and evening cocktails looking at the sunset overlooking Prickly Bay.

Absolutely Gorgeous Views and perfect layout for our group!

Myself and my girlfriends decided to have a 40th Birthday celebration in Grenada and found this villa and quickly decided it would be perfect for our trip. Rick was very responsive to all of our questions and made it very easy to coordinate from afar! However once we arrived I was blown away. The view is breathtaking and the layout of the house made it so comfortable for all of us girls to feel right at home. There is a nice little restaurant within walking distance that we had dinner at the first night. Food was good and the views were again amazing. I felt very safe at all times and if we needed anything during the stay, Rick and Karen were there to assist immediately. Our only regret, not booking our stay longer… I do have to also say, after checking out and getting home, I realized that I left my ring there and it was something I definitely wanted back. I emailed Rick and he replied right away letting me know it was found and he nicely packaged it up and mailed it to me. I was just so impressed. If you are on the fence about booking, take my advice and do it. Worth every penny!!! Thank you Rick and Karen and for helping us make memories we will cherish for a lifetime!

Family Vacation

Villa Beachcliff worked wonderfully for our large party of 9! Everyone had their own space and the layout was perfect for gathering and coming together while balancing personal space. The kids loved the pool! Both are good swimmers so loved the plunge pool the best. Rick & Karen were highly responsive and provided recommendations on vehicles as well as horseback riding on the beach, which the family loved! The views were phenomenal from the house and the cliffs nearby made for excellent photos. We were there during a very hot time so the cross breeze was greatly appreciated by all. Despite challenges with the island due to drought, Rick and Karen did everything they could to make us as comfortable as possible and were highly attentive to our needs. Thank you Rick and Karen for everything!

Amazing venue & Host!

Villa beach cliff was an amazing experience! We found this beautiful location while looking for a place to have our wedding and could not have been happier with our decision. We were able to host the most wonderful event for our friends and family. Rick and Karen are very accommodating and great hosts. We had the most amazing time! I highly recommend this villa. We had all of the utensils, bath towels, and privacy that we could have asked for. The property has amazing views. The air conditioning in the bedrooms worked perfectly and the breeze from the ocean made every night special. Having two pools was definitely a pleasant experience as well. Five stars.

Unique Home with Great Views

BeachCliff Villa has such a unique layout that worked great for our group of 3 couples. Everyone had a nice en-suite with a view. The crow’s nest was our favorite place to spend time, with the great breeze and views! Rick and Karen were great to work with on setting up the rental car and personal chef for a night. The home had a few areas where it could have used a little TLC, but pretty typical for a beachfront property. Overall we had a fantastic time and would certainly recommend it.
